Preschool Program

Age range from 3 – 4 years

Preschoolers continue to grow and develop in many ways across all developmental domains. Social skills continue to improve, and although self-centered, the 3-4 year old begins to show unprompted affection and concern for others. They will express themselves using 5-6 word sentences, ask many questions, and increase their vocabulary.

Strengthening social skills and language development is the primary focus in the preschool classroom. Our teaching environment encourages continued independence, self- expression, and opportunities to learn with each other through cooperative play.

Emotional Growth

Children learn social-emotional skills by watching, imitating and responding to the social behaviors of others. Our program and teachers enforce patience and positive behavior, which promote the ability to control emotions.

Cognitive Development

Our program challenges children to learn and solve problems. We encourage development in the areas of memory, concentration, attention, and perception by incorporating simple activities into their everyday routine.

Speech Development

We push children’s ability to use language, with encouraging, positive strategies, as to not frustrate or overwhelm your child. We teach children new words, how to execute directions, and form easy to understand sentences, among other things.

Nutritional Developments

We instill positive food habits such as washing hands before meals. We also make an effort to make eating fun, which aims to help children avoid pickiness or “food jags”.

Fine Motor Improvement

Your child will enjoy simple activities which will help to develop and improve their fine motor skills. These activities are usually creative and include drawing, painting, stringing, cutting, etc.

Gross Motor Improvement

Our facility offers children the space to engage in fun activities that aim to improve their gross motor skills. We center our activities around all different ways of active play, which allow children to run, jump, dance, and more.

Classroom Facilities

We’ve designed a wondrous world to foster the daily development of children’s minds and bodies.

We surround children with objects that will allow them to discover and develop all five senses. This includes toy instruments that encourage experimentation, exploring textures, colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through playing with other children.

More than just a day care, your little one starts his or her learning journey with us and we’ll work with you to make the transition a smooth and happy time, creating a strong bond and a setting that feels like family.
